_{Our Origins}

_{Back in 1995 I threw a few pages together of pictures of cars that I'd found while surfing the (then still in it's infancy) World Wide Web, and uploaded them to the "freenet" host I had at that time.  I soon outgrew that space and moved to some server space at Parkland College.  Upon nearing completion of my classes there, I decided to purchase a web domain to house The WFVCS and other pages of mine.  The Web's First Virtual Car Show resided at Show-N-Go.com from March 1996 thru December 2000, when a "major re-arranging" (split the site up) was initiated (to alleviate having too much content at the new Show-N-Go.net).  From March of 2001 till today we've been here at Virtual-Carshow.com!}

_{Unfortunately the past few years, I have not dedicated as much time to maintaining this site, as I have some of my others.  The latest photos featured are from the 2001 Show Season.  I do have some photos housed here from newer shows, but they are not indexed on individual pages.  What does the future hold for The Web's First Virtual Car Show?  I plan to keep the existing pages online, but don't foresee a great deal of new pictures updated (perhaps 2-3 events per year?).   Please enjoy the "look into the past" the site's now become! ;-)}
